Feature Changes 

• Removal of web service – Version 2 of Signature Manager has the signature generation and deployment decoupled. Signature generation is done on save of the configuration at the console as opposed to on demand from the client’s ExSync. The signature is then deployed via file read-write operation. Therefore the deployment process is much quicker compared to the web service in version 1. This provides for greater scalability and a greater number of simultaneous requests.
• Template Library – The Gallery feature has been superseded by the Template Library. The Template Library allows greater control for organising, managing and previewing templates.
• Add campaigns to this signature – Allows greater control over when campaigns will be applied to signature policies. For example, you can now have a signature that contains a campaign for new messages and a different signature that does not contain a campaign for replies and forwards.
• Add disclaimers to this signature - Allows greater control over when disclaimers will be applied to signature policies. For example, you can now have a signature that contains a disclaimer for new messages and a different signature that does not contain a disclaimer for replies and forwards.
• Cloning a policy now clones the template
• Advanced scheduling in policy date range – Allows greater control over when policies will be applied.
• Automatic Configuration backup – This allows you to retrieve a previous copy of your configuration if any issues occur.
• Policy Tester – Provides a visual output of the order of policies applied
• Campaign and Disclaimer deployment options – Allows you select if campaigns and disclaimers will be deployed to Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Web Access or both.
• Signature Manager now provides the logic to prevent applying Campaigns to OWA signatures.
• Support for Outlook 2010 x86 and x64

Fixed the following problems 

• Socket exception error when running more than one copy of the Signature Manager console.
• Forward slash in OU name causes members of the OU to receive an error in the application
  log.
• RTF Field suffix and prefix formatting issues addressed.
• Using the Organizational Unit value in the Active Directory Attribute editor does not return
  any rows.
• File not found exception when an image is located in a folder that contains an ampersand in
  the folder name.
• Background image in a table does not display in Outlook 2003 (with Word as the editor).
• "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to read Rich Text e-mail messages" is selected in Outlook
  2003 when option has not been selected in policy.
• Image extensions could cause anti-spam false positives.
• Templates are not cloned when cloning a policy.
• Signatures not deployed to user if their AD account name contains a forward slash

Fixed the following problems

• Fixed error in deployment status that showed both OWA and non-OWA signatures deployed to all users, even those without OWA configured.
• Non-mail enabled users are now visible to Exclaimer Signature Manager Administrators in the console.
• The Delete option in the context (right-click) menu in HTML Editor now works.
• Fixed issue relating to ExSync updates where a valid request is disregarded as a timeout because the client and server time is set to two differing time zones.
• Remove Stationery feature now works in localized versions of Microsoft Office.
• Embedded images now have height and width attributes set automatically in the HTML source.
• When installing on a computer where IIS has been removed Exclaimer Signature Manager will take the appropriate steps to ensure the correct installation procedure is followed.
• ExSync now works locally on an Exclaimer Signature Manager Server installed on a Windows Vista computer without IIS installed.
• The OutlookSettings Web Service now works when installed on a Windows Small Business Server 2003 with SharePoint.
