Channel Marketing Manager

Role Purpose

As the Channel Marketing Manager, you’re responsible for developing and managing Exclaimer’s channel marketing program. This new position within Exclaimer will work closely with the global channel sales and marketing teams to drive preference and mindshare within the partner community, and enable, equip, and motivate partners to maximise reach and demand for our products. You will also be responsible for delivering campaigns and resources that drive net new business pipeline from the channel. This role is both strategic and hands-on.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the global channel sales team to develop marketing strategies and programs that support and enhance the Exclaimer channel strategy and partner program, and drive reseller engagement and revenue growth
  • Communicate, educate and drive alignment with the global channel sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities that drive awareness and pipeline
  • Generate awareness in the partner ecosystem to drive recruitment, reactivate dormant resellers, and nurture existing ones
  • Manage and innovate on regular communications programs that advise and educate Exclaimer’s resellers on Exclaimer news and announcements, product updates, partner program news etc. Communication channels include e g the Exclaimer Partner Portal, nurture emails, newsletters, videos, and webinars
  • Work with channel sales, product management, and marketing teams to support the onboarding of new resellers, as well as enablement and training to existing resellers including product launches and feature updates
  • Leverage tools and resources created by the marketing team to enable resellers to successfully promote and sell our products, and create channel-specific assets as required
  • Build campaign in a box resources and co-branded collateral/templates that resellers can utilise to drive demand for Exclaimer
  • Proactively engage with Exclaimer’s key resellers to develop quarterly and yearly marketing plans and campaigns that support the revenue goals of those resellers, and assist in the execution of the campaigns, e.g. guidance on Exclaimer messaging and resources, arranging Exclaimer speakers, etc.
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing teams as required to support local key resellers in executing Exclaimer campaigns and events
  • Leverage and manage the MDF fund to develop joint activities with key partners, owning related processes and governance, and measure spend and ROI by partner
  • Evaluate the marketing performance of MDF partners and recommend improvements
  • Work with the channel platform manager to enhance the Exclaimer Partner Portal and ensure content and resources are available, relevant and up to date for our resellers
  • Ensure the Exclaimer Partner Program is promoted on the Exclaimer website and other channels as required

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of channel marketing experience in high-volume B2B SaaS business
  • Experience with driving communications, enablement, and content strategies to a sales-oriented audience
  • Experience in managing cross-channel integrated marketing programs that convert to business opportunities and revenue
  • Working knowledge of PRM platforms such as Impartner and Salesforce is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, highly organised and creative with the ability to think outside the box
  • Self-starter with drive to succeed in a fast-paced and quickly changing business environment
  • Good communicator (verbal and written) with the ability to engage across all levels and functions
  • Limited travel might be required to support channel specific activities
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent marketing related qualification
