Depending on employees
Maintaining a consistent, company-wide branded email signature is a familiar issue for many companies. Depending on individual employees to update their own signatures without removing any of important content isn’t always easy.
This was a problem Marc Haesendonckx, Senior IT Consultant at Digimax Europe, faced. “Every employee at Digimax managed their own signature in Outlook. This meant they had to copy a template signature whenever there was a change, such as adding a promotional banner,” said Mr Haesendonckx. “Employees would often forget to change important information such as their mobile numbers, or they would add in elements such as certification logos and LinkedIn buttons.”
A simple online search
Mr Haesendonckx needed a solution that would allow him to manage multiple office’s email signatures with the ability of adding different promotional banners easily and efficiently. A simple online search for an email signature management solution brought him to Exclaimer’s website.
“I came across Exclaimer whilst doing an online search for global signature management solutions,” said Mr Haesendonckx. “Digimax needed a solution that would allow us to manage every Office 365 (now Microsoft 365) email signature, and Exclaimer Signature Management Cloud was the right fit for us.”
“I started by trialling Exclaimer Signature Management Cloud, and with help from Digimax’s IT department, we were able to deploy company-wide signatures with great success,” he continued. “The solution was very easy to use, with no special skills required. It took less than an hour to setup Exclaimer Signature Management Cloud and create our first signature.”
The solution they needed
After showing Exclaimer Signature Management Cloud to Digimax’s CEO and gaining approval, Mr Haesendonckx fully setup the solution, “Exclaimer Signature Management Cloud is great! It solved our issue of continuously checking employees have the correct signature.”
“The great thing about Exclaimer Signature Management Cloud is the ability to deploy signatures to either the whole company, a specific department or a user group. We are now able to add promotional banners for each Azure Active Directory group,” Mr Haesendonckx added.
“Exclaimer really wanted it to work for us, so they helped out whenever needed, whether it was a sales related question, a support request or a design question.”
The stated product name was correct at time of writing. All products are now referred to as Exclaimer.
