Apple's Mail app signs your outgoing email "Sent from my iPhone" until you change it. Replacing that line takes a few taps. A logo takes more work, because Apple's guide to Mail settings says the Signature setting holds text only.
If you're managing email across a team or department, it's faster and safer to apply signatures centrally, rather than configuring each iPhone manually.
How do I add an email signature on iPhone?
These steps cover iOS 26 and iOS 27. iOS 18 uses the same path.
Open the Settings app.
Tap Apps, then tap Mail.
Tap Signature, listed under Composing.
Tap the text field, then delete "Sent from my iPhone" and type your email signature. Your name, job title, company, and phone number are enough to start.
If you have more than one email account, tap Per Account to set a different email signature for each one.
Open the Mail app, start a new message, and check that your email signature appears.
Tip
On iOS 17 or earlier, tap Mail in Settings directly and skip the Apps step. iPad follows the same split. iPadOS 18 and later use Settings > Apps > Mail > Signature.
How do I change or remove "Sent from my iPhone"?
Go back to Settings > Apps > Mail > Signature and edit the text in the field.
To change it, replace "Sent from my iPhone" with your own. To remove it, delete the text and leave the field empty. The same steps work for "Sent from my iPad" on an iPad.
How do I set a different email signature for each account?
Open Settings > Apps > Mail > Signature and tap Per Account.
Every email account on the phone gets its own field. Your work account can carry your job title and company, and a personal account can carry just your name.
Tip
This only changes the signature inside Apple's own Mail app. If you also use the Gmail app or the Outlook app on the same iPhone for the same account, each one has its own, separate signature setting, and changing one doesn't change the others. Set the signature in whichever app you actually send from, or update all three if you switch between them.
Can I add a logo or image to an iPhone email signature?
Not in the Signature setting itself. A logo or picture pasted straight into it doesn't work.
The usual workaround is to build an HTML (HyperText Markup Language) email signature elsewhere and paste it in. Apple doesn't document this method, so treat it as a workaround. A free email signature generator will build the HTML for you.

How do I paste an HTML email signature into iPhone Mail?
Send the HTML email signature to yourself, or save it as a draft you can open on your phone.
Open the email on your iPhone and highlight any text in the email signature that isn't a link. Tap Select All, then Copy.
Go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Signature and delete the existing text. Touch and hold the field, then tap Paste.
If the pasted email signature looks wrong, shake your iPhone to bring up Undo Change Attributes, then tap Undo. If shaking does nothing, check that Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Shake to Undo is on. You can also swipe left with three fingers.
Send yourself a test email before you use it.
Editing the pasted email signature afterward can break the formatting, so make changes in the original and paste again.
